A court sized for them
On a full-size court, rallies between young players tend to end on the serve or in open sand. We shrink the court and lower the net, so athletes reach more balls and make real plays from their first day. Court size and net height step up with age.
The approach is inspired by leading international youth systems.
Smaller court.
Less sand to cover, so more balls stay in play.
Lower net.
Set for their height, so they can play over it with real technique.
More touches.
Always two a side, with longer rallies, so nobody stands around waiting for the ball.
Jumping in is easy
No experience needed. If your athlete likes the sand, they’ll fit right in.

Play in a tournament
Once a month, athletes team up and play real matches against teams at their level.
We build confident players who love the game and keep loving it.
- Stronger
- Every practice opens with strength and conditioning, building the athletic base the game is played on.
- Game-like
- Practices are grounded in ecological dynamics: coaches set up problems, athletes discover the answers, and those skills hold up in real games.
- Consistent
- Our coaching directors design every practice plan, so athletes get the same quality of coaching whichever coach leads their court.
- Supportive
- We create a positive environment where athletes feel supported, challenged at the right level, and proud of their growth.
One philosophy, from youth to the pros
Our coaches use the same approach with youth athletes that they use at LMU and with AVP and FIVB champions: give players problems to solve, let them explore, and build players who can think for themselves on the sand.

Questions before joining?
Who can join the club?
Athletes ages 6–18 (through 12th grade) at every skill level. No experience needed. High school athletes must live within 50 miles of the LMU Beach Courts.
What’s the difference between packs, Unlimited, and drop-ins?
Packs cost less per practice than drop-ins and never expire. Unlimited covers every practice for a month, which suits athletes who come twice a week. Drop-ins work for occasional practices. The calculator above compares costs for your schedule.
What if my athlete misses a practice?
Missed practices aren’t refunded, but packs never expire, so your athlete can use that practice later.
I’m not sure which option to choose. Can I ask first?
Absolutely. Email us before registering and we’ll help you pick.
